Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, Whitefield

The resort's full-service spa includes treatment rooms designed for dual treatments, a distinction unique in the United States. Guests can book body wraps, facial treatments, and massages, with access to a spa lounge and locker rooms. The spa also offers beauty services such as manicures, pedicures, and haircuts.

Four on-site restaurants are available, with two operating year-round and two open seasonally. The wine cellar and tavern serve dinners built around locally-sourced ingredients, and a bar and coffee house offer additional dining options. The resort also provides room service and a kid-friendly buffet with special diet menus.

An outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a tennis court are located on the property, along with a golf course. Seasonal activities include hiking, skiing, cycling, and walking tours, while the game room and movie nights provide indoor options. The on-site farm features animals and a children's playground, and the 1,700 acres include snowshoe trails for winter use.

The resort offers a kids' club, game room, and indoor play area for children, plus movie nights and board games. The Mountain Paws program provides pet-friendly accommodations, with pet bowls and approved rooms for dogs. Families can also use the outdoor playground and visit the on-site farm as part of their stay.

Over 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space can host conferences and corporate retreats. The resort has been an event venue since 1865, adding historical appeal to business gatherings. Business guests have access to on-site restaurants, bar, fitness center, and a 24-hour front desk for private check-in.
